About This Project

TRIBUTO A EL ÚLTIMO DE LA FILA and the NATIONAL POP-ROCK of the 80’s & 90’s is an original formation of Alejandro Maldonado (vocals and acoustic guitar), Alberto Gutiérrez (drums), Rubén Bonilla Sierra (electric guitar and backing vocals) and José Manuel García (electric bass and backing vocals) in which they have been working since 2012; and, to which Antonio Bañasco (piano, synths and backing vocals) joins as a collaborator. During the last years they have been performing regularly in Malaga, Fuengirola, Marbella, Estepona, Mijas, Alhaurín, Torre del Mar; in the fairs of Malaga, Córdoba, Vélez-Málaga, Manilva, Casares, Mijas, Villanueva de La Concepción, Alhaurín el Grande, Mérida; and many incursions to concert halls and private parties in Madrid, Seville, Granada, Jaén, Cádiz, Alicante, Cáceres. They closed 2019 with the not inconsiderable figure of 132 concerts. They have a magnificent show, of more than two hours, as a tribute with versions of El Último de la Fila and Manolo García.

And also, for places that demand it, a repertoire of more than 80 songs of groups of the Spanish pop-rock scene of the eighties and nineties; Los Piratas, Los Ronaldos, Héroes del Silencio, Pereza, M-Clan, Fito, La Guardia, Loquillo, Celtas Cortos, Joaquín Sabina, Alejandro Sanz, Maná, Andrés Calamaro, Antonio Orozco, Tam-Tam Go, Los Secretos, Duncan Dhu. Nacha Pop “La Chica de Ayer”, Maná “Clavado en un Bar”… At the end of 2019 they presented their first album, 10 original songs that they published under the name “En Tus Manos”.
