About This Project

Professional drummer and percussionist of house/club music.
Born in Marbella, he began in 1991 to study and play drums in numerous bands of the Costa del Sol developing different styles such as rock, funk, jazz, Latin, etc. This fact has given him the possibility of acquiring great versatility to deal with all kinds of musical situations.

Gustavo has recorded in 5 albums as session drummer and until now he has been part of more than 30 groups with which he has toured practically all of Spain as well as several international performances that include Helsinky (Finland), Tanger (Morocco), Shanghai (China) ), Milan (Italy), Rochester (England), Brussels (Belgium), Luxembourg, Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Dax (France).

In 1999 he began to enter the world of electronic music adapting his experience in this field and performing as a percussionist with Djs in numerous clubs in Andalucia, using a percussion set that includes bongos, congas, darbuka, timbales, djembe, sampler pad electronic.
Well known in La Costa del Sol and especially in Marbella where Gustavo has worked in all the famous places like Olivia Valere, (resident 3 years), La Sala (resident 2 years), Tibv, Dreamers, La Suite P.Romano (resident 3 years), News Café, Glam, Ocean Club, Sala Beach, Nikki Beach, Plato 68, Sisu, Finca Besaya, Puro Beach, Plaza Beach, Pangea, etc.

Gustavo focuses and directs his performance creating a lively rhythm that interacts parallel to the music and ends in a climax that mixes technique with an explosive soul and vibration, his performance definitely exposes a stamp of creativity along with an exciting funky rhythm and Latin winks giving any event or session a definite touch of distinction while leading the audience to dance and rampage!
